Hi there! I'm Arthur, a PhD student from the University of São Paulo, Brazil, advised by Prof. Paulo Meirelles and Prof. Michele Lanza, and I'm currently working alongside the folks of the REVEAL lab at the Università della Svizzera Italiana (USI).

After working on how to support software engineering with AI, I now find myself interested in (and currently focusing my PhD on) a different yet fundamental part of software engineering. My current research centers on understanding and supporting how people perceive the evolution of large software projects. In particular, I'm interested in software maintenance, evolution, FLOSS, and program comprehension through mining software repositories and software visualization.

If you are reading this, chances are we have something in common to chat about. Do reach out to me! If that happens to be at a conference, I promise to give you (at least) two out of these three: A cookie, a laugh, or an argument for why coding in SmallTalk is still actually cool.
